Taylor Swifts Wedding Flowers Revealed

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly set to get married at Madison Square Garden this weekend, with rumors swirling about the details of their big day. The wedding is said to feature a fairytale castle and a garden built specially for the occasion, according to the outlet.

A luxury wedding planner estimated that the cost of flowers for such an event could be upwards of $500,000. For their engagement, Travis Kelce set up a secret garden in his backyard filled with over 2,000 blooms that cost an estimated $38,000.

These included flowers that symbolized her music, so it’s likely that the couple will choose flowers with special meaning for their wedding. Every plant ever mentioned in a Taylor Swift song has been noted, and it seems that roses are the most likely flower to feature in Taylor’s bouquet.

Roses are a wedding classic, and they’re also mentioned the most often in her music. In her first studio album, Taylor Swift (2006), they get a mention in the song Our Song, where she sings: “I almost didn’t notice all the roses.”

Roses appear again in Speak Now (2010) where she sings “you gave me roses and I left them there to die” in the song Back to December. In her later, more acoustic-style albums, nature imagery becomes much more common.

Roses are mentioned in the lyrics: “a red rose grew up out of ice frozen ground” in the lakes, a bonus track from the album folklore (2020). Ranunculus were spotted as part of the elaborate proposal, but it’s not the right season for them now, so it’s more likely they’ll choose something else.

Dahlias could be a possibility, as the season is just starting and they offer plenty of drama and blousy appeal for wedding bouquets. Daisies get a few mentions in Taylor Swift’s discography, so a daisy-like flower could be on the cards for her bouquet.

It seems likely that some of these foliage plants will feature in the wedding displays if not in the bouquet, evoking some of Taylor’s music. Whatever they choose, there will have to be a lot of them to fill Madison Square Garden.

They will need a large quantity of flowers.

Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, especially when it comes to choosing the right perfect details, but for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, their special day is just around the corner.
